My Life from new born to Now (19)

I can't believe that so of today September 22 I have been alive for 19 years. In the beginning I was a problem child. My mom thought many times that she was going to lose me. I had many problems with keeping my little heart beating and to keep my unformed lungs for collapsing. I was " a fighter" as my mom would tell it. I held on to life for quite a while and I would slip away and my heart would stop and I would not breathe. I spent the first 3 months of my life in the hospital. When I got to leave at the end of November I was on all kinds of monitors. I spent my first Christmas in the hospital... I guess we had just had family pictures done and I stop breathing on the way home. This is one of my fav. pictures because it is of me and my sister.

Life was good after my first birthday. I was off of the monitors and was a healthy baby form what the doctors could see. I was like any other child...Crazy and wild as ever. I loved to go to school when I was younger. It was something that I liked to do. I loved to learn and grow. This is my second grade picture that my mom loves because I was her little cowgirl.

This is a picture form JR high.

As many of you know I played on The basketball and the Soccer teams for payson... I love to play soccer. It was my life for a long time. I went threw some hard times in high school and I can honestly say that I think soccer and all of my friends and coaches kept me going.

I also even got through Graduation......Crazy I know...Now I am 19 years old. Wow how the years fly. I have had so many good friends that have helped me threw some tough time over the past3 year with My grandma and the passing of my uncle..... I want to thank all of you for helping me live to be 19! Thanks

New Laptop!

A few days ago I join what is known as the cyber world when I bought a new laptop. I now have no excusses or not getting my homework done! I love the laptop! I think it works great and I also love to colors. It is white so I put some soccer stickers on it. I love it!!!

P.S. I am on it now!!!! LOL

RATTLE SNAKE!!!!

Ok, so on Saturday after mybirthday party with some friends.... My friend Allison and I went up the canyon to take some pictures and to have some pizza... the pizza was GREAT. We then went up to the top of the mountain to a spot called Look Out Point.... At least I think that is what it is called... anyways.... were coming downt the mountain and when we got down almost to the bottom Allison said there was a snake in the road, I didn't believe her so I told her to turn around. We did and sure enought there was a nice BIG RATTLE SNAKE in the road.... It was cool but at the same time I feared for my life!!!

Relief Society

Well as you all know I am getting old.....so old that I am no longer in young woman's (which I hate) I had to sit in Relief society for the first time in my life, and I have one thing to say about that............BORING............... I could not learn a thing in there.... I had this one lady that sat right next to me (OVARD) and she would not leave me alone! I was trying so hard to feel the spirit while she was in my left ear talking about drunk drivers in Santaquin. I would not recommend relief society to any one................Unless they are 97 years old.

Not enough time in the day!!!

WOW!!!! Time has gone by so fast since the last time I posted anything! I thought I would post a little update on Nikki. Well classes are going well (so far!). I now know why I see all of these people sleeping in the halls at the University....IT IS HARD STUFF!!! I have already had a test in all 7 of my classes and all of them have had at least 3 quizzes. My grandma was not kidding when she said that college was nothing like high school. I am also feeling the crunch that all students feel regarding money, School books are way to much money! someone somewhere is a millionaire just off of the 9 books that I had to buy!!!

I am glad that I have the chance to go to college! I hope that someday I can look back on this all and just laugh! I am glad that all of my life I wanted what was best for myself so that I could someday provide for a family of my own.( that might come sooner that most think....I met this cute boy...story for another time)! I also want to say thank you to all of the influences form all the people in my life...You know who you are! THANKS!!!!

Mommy for a day

Today I got the opportunity to be a mom for the day. The baby's name is Alana and she is so cute!

I had to give her a bath and I found out really fast that she doesn't like to take a bath. She was so mad at me! After she was all done with her bath.... she was just so cute that I had to take some pictures!

And then we were finally done! She was not to happy.

When we were all done with that we went to Candi McMullins house to hang out. We had so much fun. Candi's baby is four years old, and it was so cute to see her with a four month old. Lilli, the four year old, was kind of shy at first when we got there, but every minute after that she was always holding her. It was so cute to see....I wished I would have gotten a picture. Alana is such a good baby and can sleep threw anything! That was very nice when she was sleeping!

I had the best time at Candi's playing with Lilli and Alana..... Alana dose not like it when you are holding her and sitting down....she has a sixth sent and she can tell when you are going to sit and she cries!!! I know that by the time I came home from Candi's house I was so tiered!! I fell right to sleep and Natasha my sister came in while I was asleep with Alana still awake!

A baby is a lot of work......79 million bottles and 52 million diapers later I was so tiered! And this also made me realize that I don't want a child for a while! So hats off to all of you moms!!! I don't know how you do it.

I think I am ready.....:0

I am so not ready to see what college has to bring!!! I have been talking to a lot of people and they have all said that I am going to have a tough time doing 20 credits all at once..... I hope that is not the case. I hope I can go into school and show everyone that I can do it. I know that the books are so much money!!!! I couldn't believe that they were as much as I payed for them. Now that school is one week away........I am praying that I can do it.

Santaquin Rodeo 2008

The Santaquin Rodeo was OK this year. There seemed to be a lot of people there because of the fireworks after the rodeo. I know that one of the best parts of the Rodeo was the sunset. I took more pictures of it than of Hot Cowboys! It looked like a fire!

There was this one little boy who was there with his family and he came up to Allison and I and he would just sit and talk up a storm. His mom would tell him to come back down were they were at but he always came back. He was so cute!!

The next best part was the Fireworks...They were way good this year. The only thing wrong with them was that there were these two girls sitting behind me...I mean right behind me say oooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh... The whole time...Not just once or every now and again but the WHOLE TIME!!!!!........I wanted them to run away and play some were else! They would roll down the hill and kick me in the head and they would not just hold still. All of the people on the other side or the arena came to our side because we had the best view....it was crowded! But other than that it was great! This is a clip of the great ending!

Utah Fire of 2008

Well as most of you know there was a BIG fire here in Utah county in Spring Lake. I got some really good pictures of the fire and I also got some of the helicopters filling their buckets to dump.
