A year has already past. :(

A year ago today I got the news that John had passed away. John was a good man that always thought of others before he thought of himself. He was a loving dad to 4 wonderful kids and he was married to the most amazing lady in town. The family has had struggles with the passing of John. He was everyones friend. I know that I would love to spend just one more day with him to tell him how much I love and miss him. He was the man in my life that I looked up to the most. He treated his wife the way that the queen of France gets treated. He was Awesome. John you are great. I sure do miss your smiling face down here. I can't wait until I get to see you again!

McMullin Fun

Matt and Candi left on Sunday for a Cruise, I got the opportunity to stay with their kids. I went over there on Sunday night before they left for a run down on all of the rules and what Candi and Matt wanted their kids to do while they were gone. Candi was so nervous to leave her kids. You could tell that she was very nervous because she was vacuuming the floors...painting her toe nails...and just talking over the same rules like 15 times....LOL I can't say that I would not do that if I had kids but I just thought it was way funny. Then to top it off Jade was coughing and so that made Candi even more nervous. They left their house at 10:30 ish and I was so tiered I went straight to bed! I didn't sleep very well that night because it was not my bed and I was just a little nervous that if I went to sleep I would not hear the girls if they woke up sick or crying. I finally got to sleep at about 3ish. Lilli had a bad dream and was came into Candis room and was in bed with me at 4:30am...Man I was so tiered but she was so scarred so I turned on the TV hopping she was sleep....no such luck. :) When the older all the kids got home from school it was homework time!

Monday was one of the funnest days I have had with the McMullin kids because of family home evening. I had the idea of making a fruit pizza. They were all so happy to get to help. McKinley was in charge of the dough., getting it into the pan and into the oven to cook. Gavin was in charge of the kiwis and the pineapple, peeling them and cutting them up. Jade got to cut the grapes in half. Lillian got to cut up the bananas. The younger girls were just so happy that I let them us a butter knife to cut up the fruit. That was fun because there were no fights and they were so happy!!

If you are going to have fruit pizza you have to have the real thing, so we did!

I would have to say that their favorite part of the fruit pizza would of had to of been the frosting. They all took turns licking the spatula and they each had their own knifes. They sure had fun decorating it.

They all had so much fun decorating the pizza. They wanted to make something for their parents so this was the end results....

Man I can't even tell you how much fun I had with them. They always seemed to be laughing and smiling. They really never fought and none of them really cried. It was super fun! On Tuesday we all went to the park and played for what seem like hours. All of the young Ercanbrack boys came and we had so much fun at the park. Wednesday was a crazy day. We just seemed to be running around all over, but over all I really had a good time! Thanks Matt and Candi for letting me come and hang out with your kids! They are the Best!!!

This year my mom and I wanted to make our own chocolates. So we did. We dipped Marshmellows, gummy candy, cookies, and hot lips. It was a lot of fun. I think it turned out great!

Catching up

WOW it has been so long sence my last post! I have not really done much to blog about. Right now I am sitting in Payson at my friends house babysitting.....I know what you are think....why am I on the computer while I am babysitting....Well she is asleep. LOL Her name is Gracie and she is so cute!

Yeah she is cute. Right now as we speak my friend Allison is bowling and my boy friend is partying and I am sitting here on this computer watching Fox 13......LAME well I am sorry this is so short! LOL

Our some what tragic yet happy Christmas

Well I guess that I should explain the tragic part before I say anything about the Happy. OK so the 23rd was my cousin Madison's birthday. My mom and I went to my aunt Sara's house to give Maddy her gifts. When we got there Sara was not there. We asked all of the kids where she went. They said she was with he boyfriend Justin....I just laughed....John just died 7 months ago.... As she showed up with this guy...I was a little upset! My mom talked to him and to Sara for a long time. On the way back home she told me that we had to give him a chance and that it was Sara's life. I agree that Sara should date. Well come Christmas eve at a family party Sara announced that she was MARRIED!!! They have been married for 6 DAYS!!! they told no one! they dated for 1 week and now they are married..... That messed Christmas up....My Grandma was so hurt! Christmas was Johns fav. holiday and she was sad enough then found out that Sara was married.....UGH!!! IDK may I add that he has 5 kids and she has 4. Yes that is right she now has 9 KIDS!!

Well for the good. We still had the family Christmas party. This time we were missing John and Sara because she was with her new family. Hayden Corry Maddy and Sydnee came and we had so much fun. Here are some pictures.

I got some cool stuff for Christmas....I got a Nike shirt, an aeropostal hoodie, $100.00 cash, an I pod, and an I pod snooze.

I had a couple requests to put up a picture of Cody from the previous post of our date at the temple. I had to ok it with him and this is the only picture he would give me. He said this is his fav. one. It is of him and his sister.

Holiday Candy

As a family Tradition every holiday we get with grandma and make all of our fav. holiday treats. This year we made 2 batches of Fudge, 5 batches of peanut brittle, a bunch of chocolate candy cane covered pretzels, and about 9 pumpkin rolls.

It is so fun to make all of this candy every year.....But I hate to stir all of the candy! It is like 15 minutes for every batch! But it is great to get to eat all of it! :)
